Matthew Erick White is a young actor from Huntersville North Carolina now living in Los Angeles California.

Early on, Matthew activated his "spidey senses" and began performing. His entertainment style and influences included Spiderman, Buzz Lightyear, Troy Bolton, Harry Potter, Jeremy Jordan from "The Newsies," "The Jersey Boys" and Matthew Broderick from "The Producers" just to name a few.  Matthew's first "stage" was the softball field as he was often seen performing during and inbetween his older sister's softball games. He became so well known that he received performance requests, most desired was his rendition of Troy Bolton in High School Musical 1, 2, and 3.

It was Matthew's love of musical theater that led him to audition and be cast as the Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz."  This first experience with a theater group and performing on an actual stage inspired him to continue acting.

Although Matthew was a skilled baseball and basketball player, playing for both his school and top tier tournament teams, he began taking acting classes, joined an improvisation ensemble, and took formal singing lessons. Soon after joining the acting class, his acting coach brought him to Orlando, Florida to compete and showcase his craft among actors of all ages. During this competition, Matthew won the "Best Over-All" award in "Commercial Acting and Modeling." Not only did he win this award, but was offered theatrical and commercial representation by many agents and managers from all over the country.

In 2017, Matthew and family moved to Los Angeles in order for him  to continue to study his craft.  Since the move to Los Angeles, Matthew has been cast in a national commercial, several regional commercials, various independent films, and TV shows.

Matthew enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing the keyboard and Ukulele, and exploring his new city, Los Angeles. He looks forward to continuing his education as well as further developing his passion for performing.
